Before and aftercare instructions
Brow before-care
o Shower and wash your hair before, as you will not be able to get your brows wet while you shampoo your hair in the shower
o Do not consume alcohol 24 hours before your appointment
o Do not consume caffeine on the day of your appointment
o Stop taking ibuprofen, aspirin, niacin, and fish oil supplements, for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment because they can thin out your blood. You can take your daily medication as regular unless it a blood thinner
o Avoid full day under the sun and tanning for a week prior of your appointment
o No Botox or fillers nearby brow are 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
o If you are using any kind skin lightening or peeling, retinol please let us know.
o Make up can be done to come for your appointment but forehead area will wipe with alcohol.
o Bring photos of brows that you wish to have the same or similar, color, and shape
o Your appointment will take 2 hours or 2 hours and 30 minutes to three hours for correction. Make sure schedule enough time in your day to get your brows done. Our best work is done when we have the whole duration of time for your appointment and we do not want to rush to get our work done.
o You may want to bring your own pillow for your back if you have back problem and if you need it.
o If you have diabetes we will need you to bring a doctor note that show your blood sugar is under control.
o You must not pregnant
o You must be 18 and older
o Please don’t get nervous, I won’t do anything until you approved brow shape I drawn.
o The procedure won’t hurt but I also use numbing cream to make sure you are fully comfortable.
o Don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions
How long does it take?
o First time brows will take 2 hours and 30 minutes
o Bottom eyeliner will take 1 hour 30 minutes
o Top eyeliner will take 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours for thicker lines
o Eyelash extensions will take 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes.
Restrictions: For the first 2 weeks of healing:
o DO NOT touch with your fingers, unless washing
o No sun
o No working out (heavy sweating)
o No swimming underwater
o No steam rooms or saunas (try to take cool showers)
o No foundation or ANY makeup on or around the brow area
o You can get your brows wet in the shower; pat dry once out of the shower and apply your regular ointment
Brow Prep
o You absolutely MUST be at least 18 years of age. Providing a valid, un-expired ID will be required at the beginning of your appointment.
o You CANNOT be pregnant during any tattoo procedures.
o If you are not pregnant but are currently nursing, please notify our scheduling coordinator right away.
o Please try to grow as much of your own natural eyebrow hair as possible (no matter how unruly they seem) so we have more natural hair to work with. Your brows will be shaped perfectly with your approval and unnecessary hair will be waxed.
o No Aspirin, Advil, alcohol or any other blood thinners at least 48 hours before your appointment (if you are required to take a blood thinner by your doctor, please contact us).
o If you choose not to let your brow hair grow out, do not tweeze, wax or thread brows for a minimum of 4 days before your appointment.
o It is required to wait at least a week after your appointment before continuing with your normal waxing, tweezing, or threading.
o If you dye your brow hair regularly, it is required to hold off for at least 4 weeks after your appointment to allow your brows to FULLY heal.
o Electrolysis should not be done for at least one week prior to your appointment.
o Wear your normal makeup to the procedure, with the exception of foundation.
o It is recommended to avoid caffeine the day of your appointment as it may make it difficult for you to remain still.
o It is recommended that you eat at least a few hours before your appointment. Coming in on an empty stomach may cause low blood sugar while getting tattooed.
o No heavy perfume before your appointment. We are a small studio and other clients being tattooed may be very sensitive to strong scents.
o After brows are healed, wearing foundation near or over your brows will cause a concealer affect to your brow color, making the color look different than intended. Please try and avoid skin colored foundation over your tattooed brows.
o If you have had botox done in the past 3 months, please notify our scheduling coordinator to set up an in-person consultation with your artist. Botox hi the face and some treatments may have to completely wear off before moving forward with your appointment (this is not always the case). Please refer to our ‘Policy’ pages to learn more.

Brow aftercare
Swollen and redness is normal right after procedure. Please Ruby @201.388.2733 if there are increasing redness, red ring, rashes appear.
⭐WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
Day 1- constantly check if any clear fluid, wipe off with q-tip before apply cream.
Day 2- Keep eyebrows moist by applying cream (3-4 times a day)
Day 3- If you keep brows moist, it will not dry out and crack
Day 4- Brows may start to dry out and flaking gently apply cream or leave them dry so it won’t come off
Day 5- the fronts and ends of the eyebrow may start to peel. Do not panic. Do not peel it off, let it naturally fall off. By now you can appt A/D or Don’t appt AD cream if you think or see the flaking come of on the Q tip
Day 6- Eyebrows are dried and are starting to peel off. Don’t be nervous if they all start to peel. Apply cream to soften those dryness if you want it to peel the next day
Day 7- You can wash your face and shower normally. If there are excess dryness leftover it will come off when you wet them
Congratulation, your 7 days of healing process is over. Continue apply A&D at bed time to sleep for one more week. Color will appear more natural once skin is completely healed.
⭐WHAT YOU CAN DO
You can shower on the first, second and third day using face shield or/and apply an extra amount of A&D before shower, wipe off after shower
Use paper towel to dry the brows by tapping on them after shower and reapply very thin layer of A&D cream
shower to your back
You can apply as many time of A&D cream, usually 3 times day (very thin layer)
⭐WHAT YOU DON’T DO
Do not use any type of oils or lotions and cream except A/D oilmen we have provided
Don’t apply too much, too thick A&D cream, it will trap the political course bubbles
do not sleep face down for the first few days
Do not drink a lot of water for the first 5 days. 1-2 bottles of waters are fine, 7-8 bottles are too much
Do not touch or scratch your brows mostly nighttime while you are a sleep especially day 4,5 it start to get itch (Ruby suggest to use tape to tape a little tape on your forehead, tape will alert you about your new brow
⭐WHAT YOU WILL SEE AND FEEL
Day 1- Eyebrows will feel sore and look very defined, dark, and thick, because it is very defined so a little uneven somewhere you may see, it will disappear once healed
Day 2- Will still appear dark and you will start to get used to them
Day 3- Might be itchy but do not scratch. You can use a toothpick to pinch around them to relieve the itchiness.
Day 4- Your forehead might feel tight, itch because the eyebrows will start drying out.
Day 5- Little pieces of dryness will starting to peel. Will appear splotchy and ugly.
Day 6- Parts that peeled off will appear very light
Day 7- Entire brow will peel off or just partial Eyebrows will begin to fade or appear discolored but don’t panic, color will come back when skin is completely healed. Eyebrow shape may also appear smaller, les define
⭐SECOND WEEK
Please apply cream everyday to make sure to make sure the skin is moist
(The color is peeled but skin is still healing. True colors will show when skin completely heals in approximately 3 – 4 weeks)
if you pay attention, you will be surprised iMagic brows will start turning darker and more natural. A touch up will needed if you like them to be darker, definer, wider, longer, even smaller (we can do it). This is time for you to ask your artist to give you whatever else you want. Follow up touch up is not need it if you are happy with the way it healed. We would love you to send us your healed picture to 201.388.2733 so we can check if it is ok without follow up touch up.
⭐WHAT YOU CAN DO

Please make sure you already have your follow up touch up scheduled within 4-6 weeks. Follow up touch up will be charge 75$ for all brow types. Follow up Touch up need to be done with in 4-8 from the first session day. If you have wait more than 8 weeks?
